While we explore the visual direction, I am simultaneously planning the component architecture in the code. I use a Token-Based approach, ensuring that colors, typography, and spacing in the design file match the CSS variables in the repository 1:1. In this workflow, the design file is constructed as a strict blueprint for production, not just a pretty picture. The way the file is organized matters less than how accurately it can be translated into a live, functioning interface.

This is where the magic happens. I don't wait for a final design sign-off to start coding because I handle both the frontend infrastructure alongside the UI. Once the design is good enough to engineer, the focus shifts entirely to the browser. You get access to a live Staging Link almost immediately, where you review the actual website rather than static files. We treat the design as a reference point, acknowledging that the real design is the live app itself. This allows us to catch logic errors and user journey issues weeks earlier than a traditional team would.

In a traditional team, developers often miss the nuances that define a premium experience: the micro-interactions, the hover states, and the precise padding.
